    The instructions were to take a mediocre picture. Did that - it was easy.
    Then to apply a vintage effect. Again, easy. I used Picnik's '1960s' one. It even adds rounded corners.

    When you look at the above in fullscreen, the hinting of Verdana appears slightly better in Safari 4 (left) in the Macintosh than it does in Firefox 3.6 (right).
