What is best to use to make a floor blanket/quilt for a baby?
I'm with cotton for the top, a flannel for support, but I'm not sure what is best for the interior: cotton wool, or just another layer of flannel? This is a cover SOL.
cotton wool is the best ... Believe me on the10 quilts I made them with cotton are more popular with baby!

Frankly i hate spring mattresses in general and would be happy enough to just roll out a think quilt on the floor and sleep on top of that but. I've slept on the floor, or on a mattress on the floor my entire life. not to sound like a pig or anything but one cant exactly bring a girl home to a blanked on the floor with a sheet on it.
