How do I start to get the gold award for girl scouts?

I try to get the gold medal at the end of Grade 10. Right now I'm a freshman so I need to start fairly quickly. I just need someone to help me understand how to begin. I heard that you need to get three awards to start, then 30 hours of leadership.

Senior Scouts ages 15-18 are eligible to earn the award. Girls can start working on the first three games at the age of 14 years, but can not start the service project until the age of 15.

Anyone have ideas on how i could work towards getting the gold award for girl scouts?!?

Rescue and foster neglected animals. It really makes a difference.
