I see lots of American Girl doll clothes for sale on ebay, where I often shop, is it a mid-sized doll? Or if I buy clothes for this doll, will they not in the other doll that we have here?
American Girl dolls, 18 inches in height and most 18-inch doll clothes will fit.

Cécile and Marie-Grace are a black girl and a white girl from 1853 New Orleans. She created a fully rounded Cécile, giving her a family, a beloved grandfather, and the Rey family house, based on her own grandparents' flat in New Orleans, where she spent much time as a child. "We had the names, we had 1853, we had New Orleans," Patrick told The Times. They'd been given the girls' names and a rough idea of the story they were to tell, she said. "They wanted a story arc about the yellow fever epidemic that hit the city that year and devastated it. ". A native of Louisiana, Patrick immediately saw the parallels between the epidemic and Hurricane Katrina. At the start of the project, Patrick and Buckley spent two long days plotting out the first four books. the Marie-Grace books are by Sarah Master Buckley. A series of six books has been published.Love, American (Girl) Style | Girl in a Party Hat

A lot of more dolls have followed, with Native American, African American and Hispanic dolls joining the American Girl collection, all coming with her own story set in one specified time period. Someplace between an age where baby dolls quit being interesting and Barbies begin, there needs to be a doll – or another toy – for a girl who has grown past the baby doll period but remains too young for alter egos with plunging necklines and... Back in 1983, an entrepreneur named Pleasant Rowland addressed this issue by creating the American Girl brand of historical dolls and books. American Girl’s Kirsten doll represented a Swedish child who had just relocated to the Minnesota prairie in 1854. These dolls were based on fictional historical figures whose tales were chronicled in the books. One of the earliest dolls that were introduced in 1986 was named Kirsten Larsen.
