why it is we teach our children not to go with strangers in disney land yet we encourage them to "foreigners" hug just cos they are dressed as characters? why is it suddenly ok? we wouldnt tell them to kiss random ppl on the street would we?
You're right about this. I guess we let the "Disney magic that is" kind of supported. We see characters that we saw and experienced in our lives as if they are friends and some time at least, we can return to our childhood.

also the one where a dog and a polar bear became friends. kind of seen just the trailer ages ago and hadn't held on to the title.
Enchanted (2006) starring Amy Adams, James Marsden, and Patrick Dempsey. The other one might be The Golden Compass (2007) starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig.

So many visitors tried to enter Disney World that weekend that the park periodically had to close its doors. At first, some people called it Disney’s Folly. 25 — the less-than-ballyhooed turnout for the first few weeks led some observers to believe Disney’s venture into Florida was a dud.
Then he happily prances along behind her, tongue wagging, eager to discover the source of his suddenly racing heart. You probably remember Mowgli, the little man-cub who runs around the jungle scantily clad throughout the movie. But when Baloo enters the picture, there can be no denying it. First, let me point out that Baloo is a bear. And yes, I’m using “gay” to mean gay. A wise, old panther finds a baby and instead of eating it, finds him a home with a family of wolves. Mowgli’s primary objective is remaining in the jungle, that is until he hears a little vixen singing by the river as she fetches water. Take that for what it’s worth (though the term originated 20 years following the movie, I’m sure the trend started earlier). Is truly the gayest movie I have seen in a long time. At first you think, “Oh, isn’t that nice....
