Why is it on nature shows when animals are filmed at night they aren't phased by camera lights?
They just seem to go about their business.
I find this very strange light wash of light has not alarmed.
In fact, animals are nocturnal Dazed and Confused by the lights. To minimize disruption of their natural behavior, infrared light (invisible to the animals) and camera gear are used.
We have to shut all street lights off because mother nature as to work all night to keep them on.?
It takes work to light those streets. You know hard work! lets wake up.
oh I am deeply sorry that you get up and light those street lights here let me help you--- what do you want a freaking congressional medal of honor and you know how about solar energy instead then when we would not be polluting and using up the fossil
Yielding to pedestrians
“The operation of that crosswalk is similar in nature to almost every other crosswalk in our urban area — permissive left turns must yield to pedestrians lawfully in the crosswalk,” Mann said. “The light is set up so that when the pedestrian ‘Walk’ signal comes on, so does the protected turn arrow for all the cars waiting to turn left onto 39th. These cars have to cross the crosswalk during their turn, when the pedestrians are actually legally in the crosswalk. Phil Mann, the city of Gainesville’s traffic operations manager, wrote that northbound 83rd Street is a T intersection at 39th Avenue with lights for left and right turns. Regina Roper recently wrote to The Sun about the synchronization of the light at Northwest 83rd Street and 39th Avenue near Santa Fe College. “As a pedestrian who crosses at the intersection three to four times a week, I feel my life is at risk every time I enter the crosswalk,” Roper wrote. An easy way to recycle old holiday lights | MNN - Mother Nature ...

Mother F'Nature Closes Out Fall Concert Series | The Statesman
The room turned into a night club: glow sticks, which were given out for free at the door, were waving in the air, hips were gyrating and the air had a faint smell of beer. The glow sticks were in the air and the beat was pumping so hard that it was ricocheting around in the fans’ ribcages. Fists pumped in the air, toes were tapping along with the beat and heads were banging in unison. Black lights illuminated anything white, and the ceiling was covered in light-up balloons that looked like jellyfish suspended in air. Before the show started, the DJ played music to keep the crowd entertained – and they certainly were. It was a success before the first chord of a guitar or a bass pedal was hit last Monday night at University Cafe’s final RockYoFaceCase of the semester. Despite a late start, the show went off with a bang....
