How much to feed baby red eared slider?
I have two baby red ear sliders that are about 1 1 / 2 inches long. They eat small crickets every 2-3, 2-3 Reptomin baby turtle pellets, and maybe 1-2 pieces of turtle krill zoom trafficking.
Sounds about right. What I feed a turtle will eat at once, then wait until the next feeding. If you put live fish (not goldfish) in the tank, the turtles can eat when hungry and get a fairly well-balanced diet as well.
What do they feed baby calves if we drink the cow's milk?
I understand that in order for a cow to give milk, they must have a calf. I know they feed the colostrum to the baby calf as that is required for health - but what do they then feed the calf after that if they sell the cow's milk for human consumption?
"Dairy producers feed a variety of liquid feeds to young calves after the initial colostrum. These feeds include whole milk, surplus colostrum, transition milk, waste or discard milk, and milk replacer. Waste or discard milk cannot be sold for human

Do hospital freebies discourage breast-feeding?
"I don't think hospitals are the right place to market anything and I don't think hospitals should be marketing a product that is nutritionally inferior to breast milk," said study author Anne Merewood, an associate pediatrics professor at Boston... The American Hospital Association and the International Formula Council, a trade group for formula makers, do not keep statistics and formula companies contacted for this story declined to comment. A 2010 study of 1,239 hospitals suggests that while the practice has decreased, most hospitals - 72 percent - still offered formula. A nationwide study of more than 3,000 U. S. hospitals and maternity centers published last year in the Journal of Human Lactation found that 91 percent sent new moms home with free formula in 2006-07. Routinely offering new moms free formula is among practices the CDC would like to end. How many U. S. hospitals hand out formula.Naturally Feeding Your Baby is More Work? | Glory Children Academy
Naturally Feeding Your Baby is More Work. Besides the fact that the breast is the most natural choice, you may want to give breast feeding a second chance for these reasons. We were traveling a bit this summer and when my baby wanted to eat, she wasn’t interested in giving us a chance to find somewhere to pull over let alone time to stop and prepare formula. Not only is breast feeding less time consuming, it requires less brain power. When you are groggy and really don’t want to be out of bed, breast feeding is by far the most convenient thing there is going. Before dismissing breast feeding for being more difficult, take some time to really research the benefits of pursueing a more natural approach. I was so thankful we were breast feeding and all I had to worry about was getting comfortable....
I Want My Husband To Feed Our Baby | YourTango
What I didn't expect was the incredulity people expressed when I told them I wanted my husband to be involved with the feeding of our child, even if it meant we'd be supplementing with formula. Target cashiers have told me that using the Dallas Cowboys pacifier I was purchasing would all but turn my baby into a serial killer. And I can't even imagine all the uproar that will ensue when I tell people that my approach to vaccines is "SHOOT 'EM UP. ". But I expected all of this. Baby Einstein, that is. I upset a co-worker because I was eating a roast beef sandwich and drinking a Coke. (Was it the team or the pacifier itself. I just really want him to share in the fun of feeding time. It is a truth, universally acknowledged, that once you become pregnant, everyone starts to judge you. And it's not a way to somehow coerce my husband into more late nights than are his due. This decision has nothing to do with me shirking my duties as a parent....
