Holiday Barbie?
Nov 26, 2007 by Deborah H | Posted in Hobbies & Crafts
I want my mommy an incredible gift she has collected holiday Barbie as long as I can remember ... She said that shes just missing a doll and is the first ... I did lots of research, but no results ...
The first Holiday Barbie was released in 1988 and will be difficult to find not to mention expenctive too. I think the last I saw was sold for 900.00 or bone, which was a few years ago.

But unlike last year, when Squinkies and Zhu Zhu pets attracted mostly girls, this year’s collectible toys are targeting boys. Jim Silver — an analyst at Time to Play Magazine, which offers an influential list of hot toys each year — says the wide price range of the collectible toys is important since many families are remaining cautious in their spending because of... At the same time, he says, toymakers want to be able to offer more expensive toys to parents who can afford it. Spin Master’s Redakai, a trading-card game, for $5. Among them are Hasbro’s Beyblade Metal Fusion, a battling spinning top game for $5. Cepia’s DaGeDar collectible rolling balls for $4.

A doll by any other name however, is still Barbie and she remains as one the most popular dolls that girls from all over the world love to receive for the Christmas holiday. With the holidays just around the corner, Holiday Barbie Dolls will surely be a hit among little girls this Christmas. Back in 1988, the first collection of Happy Holiday Barbie Dolls was introduced in the market and they were an instant hit among girls. There was the Millennium Princess in 2000 and then the Celebration Series in 2002, and the Winter Fantasy in 2003. From then on, different Holiday Barbie Dolls were made but this time, taking on different names. Starting from 2004, these dolls were simply called Holiday Barbie.
